Vickerstock is working in partnership with one of Northern Ireland's most recent success stories to assist them with the recruitment of a Production Supervisor for their site in Newtownards.

Our client have sites across the Europe and Asia and export their products of over 60 countries internationally.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you are responsible for the supervision of your Manufacturing team ensuring KPI targets and Product quality targets are met.

Key Responsibilities as a Production Supervisor;

• Maintain accurate training records to reflect workforce skills and address training requirements.
• Enforce disciplinary procedures and policies as necessary.
• Conduct return-to-work interviews, probation reviews, and performance appraisals for production employees.
• Conduct routine safety walks with your team members to foster a strong Health and Safety culture.
• Ensure production staff receive thorough health and safety training tailored to their roles, covering risk assessments, work instructions, equipment handling, personal protective equipment, and safe working practices.

What you will need to succeed as a Production Supervisor;

• Previous Production Supervisor / Production Team lead experience
• Proven experience leading and working as part of a team
• Experience ensuring your team hits KPI's
