Manufacturing Engineer
£40k + 5% Bonus

Vickerstock is working in partnership with a leading manufacturing company based in Coleraine to assist them with the recruitment of a Manufacturing Engineer.

You will work closely with the Head of Engineering, Product Designers and Production team to ensure all products transition from Design to Production in a timely and seamless manner.

Key Responsibilities as a Manufacturing Engineer;

• Actively contribute to assigned workstreams within development projects, ensuring project goals are met and the final product aligns with customer expectations and operational requirements.
• Assist in preparing technical reports and design documentation for internal and external review, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Embrace a continuous improvement mindset by proactively seeking development opportunities, attending training courses, and enhancing departmental skills to meet business needs.
• Continuously evaluate existing and new processes, implementing improvements and assessing their effectiveness over time.
• Attend trade shows and build strong relationships with equipment suppliers to ensure manufacturing systems align with industry best practices.
• Maintain and update all relevant quality documentation and reports.
• Make decisions within your scope of responsibility and escalate issues with significant risks or implications to the appropriate Technical Lead(s), Project Manager(s), or Engineer(s).

What you will need to succeed as a Manufacturing Engineer;

• Ideally educated to degree level.
• Previous process improvement experience.
• Ability to work within cross functional teams.
• Highly proficient with CAD systems
