Production Manager (FMCG)
Are you an experienced Production Manager / Supervisor in the FMCG industry currently considering a change of employment?

Our FMCG Client - a significant player in the agri-food sector renowned for their quality, service and value - are currently looking to recruit a Production Manager to join their team in Dungannon.

What we have to offer:

  • Salary range is from £37,440 - £43,680 depending on experience.
  • Hours of work:- Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm
  • 1 week in 3, responsibility to open up at 6am and work to 4pm
  • 1 week in 4, work Saturday* and Sunday** (starting at 6.30am, finishing approx. 1pm)
  • Any work after 40 hours is paid at time and a half
  • *working Saturday gives you a day off the following week
  • **Sunday work is paid at double time
  • 28days holiday (incl. stats)
  • Life Assurance x4 times salary
  • Staff appreciation days, barbeques etc


Your day to day as Production Manager:

  • Manage and oversee day-to-day duties within production department
  • Ensure products are produced meet the required quality standards
  • Monitor production team performance and KPIs
  • Review current processes and implement improvements
  • Ensure that production status for orders is tracked and updated accordingly
  • Oversee the training and supervision of staff
  • Investigate any product quality issues as and when they occur
  • Support all production activities within the business
  • Complete staff schedules ensuring cover for all areas on rotation.
  • Attend production meetings and provide update on current order status

Your essential ingredients:

  • Minimum 3years' experience managing and leading a Team in a similar role within FMCG
  • Experience in food quality
  • Resourceful and a positive can-do attitude
  • Highly motivated and willingness to learn and succeed
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
