With a strong commitment to excellence and innovation, they have established themselves as a key player in the market and as they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join the team in Cavan.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will work as part of a team responsible for all aspects of machine and equipment maintenance, specialising in the repair of industrial equipment.

Key Duties

• Maintenance of the plant and equipment to optimum performance.
• familiar with the daily production plan and work as part of the team
• Perform all prestart, hygiene and safety checks as necessary
• Report all faults to Maintenance Manager
• Repair of industrial production equipment such as machines, conveyors and packaging machines.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager with the implementation of preventative maintenance
• Assist with the continuous monitoring of all machinery and equipment within the plant
• Ensure real time repair of machines and equipment to get them back up and running within optimum timeframe.

You must have

• Must have prior experience in high-speed machines and conveyors, packaging machines, gearbox repairs, air automation, hydraulics and welding
• Ideally must have significant experience working as a maintenance fitter with a manufacturing/industrial business

Working Hours

• Monday - Friday
• Week 1 5am - 2.15pm
• Week 2 10.30am - 7pm
