Contracts Manager (Electrical/Building Services)

Europe

The Contracts Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of contracts related to electrical installations and services within these data centre projects in Europe. This role involves working closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure that contracts are managed effectively, and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Salary will be €120K+ plus package including all flights, accommodation, transport, expenses, mobile, laptop and will be flexible for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts for electrical systems in data centre projects
  • Ensure that all contract terms and conditions align with project goals and company standards
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth project progress
  • Address any issues or disputes related to contracts, deliverables, or payment terms
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure cost control and adherence to budgets
  • Review and approve variations, change orders, and claims related to the contracts
  • Manage a team of contract administrators or junior managers, providing mentorship and guidance
  • Work closely with internal teams such as legal, finance, and operations to ensure smooth execution of contracts

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Trade background is an advantage
  • Proven experience in contract management, ideally within the Data centre/Pharma/Industrial industry.
  • You will be tasked to travel to site weekly from Ireland
  • Experience managing large-scale contracts with significant budgets.
  • Ability to analyse complex contracts and identify key risks and opportunities.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and legal frameworks.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations within construction and data centre environments.
