Chartered Structural Engineer | Coleraine Vickerstock are working alongside a leading structural steel specialist to support in the recruitment of a Chartered Structural Engineer. Operating throughout the UK and Ireland, they work across a range of sectors that covers Data Centre, Education, Commercial and Industrial projects.
Your new role as a Chartered Structural Engineer
Reporting to the Operations Director, it will be your responsibility to coordinate, design and develop steel frames for industrial and commercial buildings from inception to completion. You will review and certify structural designs, liaise with customers to define project requirements, manage both the internal engineering team and external design consultants, and lead value engineering initiatives to optimise project outcomes.
What you will need to succeed as a Chartered Structural Engineer
A minimum of 10-years' experience with significant exposure to design of structural steel;
Proficiency with structural design software such as STAAD, Tekla, or similar
Strong knowledge of industry design standards
