Vickerstock are working in partnership with a global manufacturing business on the appointment of a Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to join their expanding logistics function on a full-time permanent basis.

As the Shipping & Logistics Coordinator, you will perform a range of tasks with the warehouse and shipping teams to coordinate the management of raw materials, and all shipping of finished goods to customers.

Duties will include:

• Generate cycle counts for warehouse operatives
• Process cycle count results and investigate inventory variances
• Perform root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies and trends
• Lead resolution of issues affecting inventory management
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders on inventory issues
• Work independently on inventory tracking and monitoring
• Book road, sea, and air freight for inbound and outbound shipments
• Create Packing Lists and Invoices within the ERP system for outbound shipments
• Coordinate shipment times with output from production
• Perform accuracy checks of documents supplied for shipping purposes
• Communicate shipment details with relevant documents to freight providers and relevant stakeholders

Experienced needed:

• Ideally 2 year's experience in both logistics and inventory/stock control
• Previous experienece in a customs environment
• Previous ERP/MRP experience
• Ability to work independently
• Strong excel skills
