Job description
Vickerstock are working in partnership with a global manufacturing business on the appointment of a Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to join their expanding logistics function on a full-time permanent basis.
As the Shipping & Logistics Coordinator, you will perform a range of tasks with the warehouse and shipping teams to coordinate the management of raw materials, and all shipping of finished goods to customers.

Duties will include:
- Generate cycle counts for warehouse operatives
- Process cycle count results and investigate inventory variances
- Perform root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies and trends
- Lead resolution of issues affecting inventory management
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders on inventory issues
- Work independently on inventory tracking and monitoring
- Book road, sea, and air freight for inbound and outbound shipments
- Create Packing Lists and Invoices within the ERP system for outbound shipments
- Coordinate shipment times with output from production
- Perform accuracy checks of documents supplied for shipping purposes
- Communicate shipment details with relevant documents to freight providers and relevant stakeholders
Experienced needed:
- Ideally 2 year's experience in both logistics and inventory/stock control
- Previous experienece in a customs environment
- Previous ERP/MRP experience
- Ability to work independently
- Strong excel skills
