Role Overview: As a Setting Out Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring precise setting out and surveying of construction sites, guiding projects from start to finish. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring projects are completed accurately, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct accurate setting out and surveying for various construction projects.
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with project managers, site managers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all setting out activities and provide reports as required.
• Utilize various surveying equipment and software effectively.
• Assist in resolving any technical issues that arise during construction.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and health & safety regulations.
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant qualifications in engineering, surveying, or a related field.
• Valid CSCS card and a full driving license.
