Production Scheduling Manager

Greater Belfast

£35k to £40k

Vickerstock are working in partnership with our Manufacturing client in the Greater Belfast area to assist them with the recruitment of a Production Scheduling Manager.

This role would be well suited to an individual who has experience of Planning/Scheduling Production activities within a busy Manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage production schedules to optimize resource use and ensure timely completion of targets.
  • Implement process improvements and lean manufacturing techniques to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and meet quality standards.
  • Effectively allocate resources, monitor inventory, and coordinate with procurement to ensure material availability.
  • Supervise and mentor production staff, promoting a positive work environment and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Provide regular updates on production performance, collaborate with other departments, and address stakeholder concerns.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading or managing production teams within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
  • Data-driven decision-making with a focus on process optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in manufacturing.
