Technical Manager

Vickerstock are currently working in partnership with leading Manufacturing Firm in the Enniskillen Area to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer. Our client has customers across the UK supplying to their projects in England, Scotland and Wales.

Your key responsibilities as a Technical Manager;

• To provide technical support to production in the implementation and set-up of new machinery / technologies. Assist in managing the maintenance of plant and machinery.
• Provide technical and engineering support to the technical team and operational areas as needed.
• Collaborate with production and dispatch teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, contractors, and consultants.
• Contribute to product and solution development in partnership with technical and on-site construction teams.
• Produce detailed drawings for various structures and structural components.
• Ensure all work meets specifications, ISO standards, and production quality requirements.
• Maintain and uphold Health & Safety standards at all times.
• Stay updated with new technical knowledge and apply it to the role.
• Meet deadlines for assigned tasks as agreed.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks requested by your Line Manager to support departmental or company goals.

As a Technical Manager, ideally you will have.

• Ideally a 3rd level qualification in Construction, Manufacturing or Civil Engineering.
• Exposure to a design package, ideally AutoCAD.
• Experience within the Construction or Manufacturing Industry.
