As Maintenance & Engineering Manager, reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the site's equipment, plant, and facilities operate efficiently to maximise production output. You will oversee both reactive and preventative maintenance, managing internal teams, contractors, and third-party maintenance providers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Planning and overseeing all repair and installation activities.
• Ensuring compliance with maintenance processes, procedures, and schedules.
• Driving plant availability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness through best practices.
• Delivering on agreed KPIs to optimise uptime and productivity.

What You Need

• Qualified in a relevant field - either as a time-served Electrician/Fitter or holding a third-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or a related discipline).
• Strong mechanical & electrical expertise - hands-on experience with equipment such as refrigeration systems, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
• Leadership experience - a proven track record of managing and leading maintenance teams, ideally within food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments.
• Preventive Maintenance experience - experience implementing and managing preventative maintenance systems.
• Problem-solving skills - ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
