Vickerstock are working in partnership with our Irish client who are fresh food manufacturers located in North Dublin. Supplying products to both retail and food service sectors across Ireland.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take the next steps towards management level. Supporting the Technical Manager, you'll take on key responsibilities and provide cover in their absence, gaining valuable leadership experience. Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Technical Manager as a key management team member.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards
• Supervise QC/QA personnel and oversee daily team activities.
• Develop and implement strategies to organize department workload efficiently.
• Provide hands-on QC/QA support to align with quality, cost, and output goals.
• Serve as a central support contact for production teams on quality issues.
• Implement systematic reporting and corrective actions for non-compliance.
• Lead initiatives to improve plant-wide quality and HACCP systems.
• Maintain readiness for audits by working closely with the Technical Manager and production team.
• Ensure meticulous compliance of quality and traceability documents with standards.
• Efficiently manage documentation systems.
• Address supplier non-conformances and oversee corrective actions with detailed reporting.
• Demonstrate flexibility in responding to evolving needs and challenges.
• Undertake additional duties as directed by the Technical Manager and Directors.
• Efficiently manage quality and HACCP systems for continuous improvement within the department.

You must have:

• 3rd level qualification in relevant field
• Proven track record and experience in a Quality/Technical role within the food industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of quality standards, HACCP, and food safety regulations.

Working hours will be Monday - Friday 7am to 3pm (can be a bit flexible with these start/finish times).
