Job description

Vickerstock is proud to be partnering with a leading company in the FMCG sector to recruit for the position of SOQP Writer (Safety, Operational, and Quality Procedures Writer).

This pivotal role focuses on developing and implementing safe, operational, and quality procedures in conjunction with the Health & Safety, Quality, and Production teams, ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food safety legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance:

  • Develop and implement safe, operational, and quality procedures in collaboration with the Health & Safety, Quality, and Production teams.
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure accurate information for staff training before implementation.
  • Review processes to ensure full compliance with procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct process inspections, internal audits, and handle customer queries.

Compliance:

  • Ensure all suppliers meet company standards and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with customer and quality audits, as well as regulatory visits.
  • Provide detailed information to support internal and external standards.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and reporting needs.

People:

  • Exhibit company values such as Challenge, Urgency, and Openness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels.

Requirements:

  • Experience & Education: Strong administrative experience in an FMCG environment.
  • Skills: Advanced IT skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, with excellent organizational and communication abilities.

  • Ability to build relationships and influence others using effective communication and interpersonal skills.
