With a strong commitment to excellence and innovation, they have established themselves as a key player in the market and as they continue to expand their operations, due to this we are seeking a motivated Quality Control Technician to join the team in Cavan.

Reporting to the Quality Manager your key duties will involve

• Carry out hourly product checks on production line
• Ensure product is produced to the customer specifications.
• Perform routine traceability product checks
• Investigating and reporting and non-conforming material in production areas
• Prepare export pre-shipment reviews for DAFM
• Specification administration
• Conducting GMP/Glass and Hard Plastic Audits within the laboratory and production areas
• Partake in any additional projects that will improve the QA area
• Carry out testing in line with DAFM requirements
• Stock control for all laboratory equipment and chemicals
• Sample preparation for External laboratory

We are looking for

• Food Science/Food Technology qualification or related
• Previous experience working in a food environment would be a distinct advantage

Working hours

• Monday - Friday
• Week 1 5am - 2.30pm
• Week 2 8am - 5.30pm
