As the site Quality Lead reporting to the Technical Manager you will play a key role within the management team working in conjunction with the operations team to deliver site production requirements focusing on food safety and quality.

Key Duties

• Food Safety & Quality Management System oversight
• Management of high-risk food production
• Compliance with regulatory standards
• Corrective & Preventative Action and Non-Conforming Product Management
• Raw material and stock control
• Adherence to customer specifications
• Customer liaison and complaint management
• Implementation of user-owned control procedures
• System self-assessment and audit support for customers
• Maintaining BRC and Bord Bia standards
• HACCP and hygiene requirement implementation
• Leadership in HACCP Team
• Product and process development
• Maintain quality, yield, and specification standards
• Coordination and recording of staff training
• Coordination of technical and maintenance suppliers
• Participation in continuous improvement activities (Lean Management)
• Staff management and support for site manager
• Attendance management and absenteeism procedures
• Grievance and disciplinary issue handling according to Company Policy
• Annual leave administration and probationary reviews

You must have:

• Third level qualification in relevant industry
• Strong quality/technical experience within Food Manufacturing
• Experience of high-risk food production processes
