Vickerstock are partnering with a Premium brand within the Food and Retail sector In Ireland. Renowned for the quality of their product, customer service and delivery they are a stand-alone organisation part of a much larger group.

Having went through part of a strategic growth phase and a proven development plan they have plans to implement phase 3 of their growth strategy. As a result of internal promotions to other areas with a more operational focus an opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join their team.

  • You will head up an internal HR team of 3 alongside having a close working relationship with both the management team and MD.

  • A big focus of this position will be working in a collaborative nature within the management team in order to strategically develop employee engagement, professional development and career growth opportunities.

  • You will manage and develop the organisations recruitment process and talent resource planning.

  • You will be responsible for developing the company's existing training matrix, identifying and honing training opportunities and career development frameworks.

  • Ongoing review of the organisations HR Policies, strategies and procedures ensuring they meet both legal compliance and align with the growth and development strategies of the business.

  • Providing HR advisory support to departmental managers on all employee relations ranging from performance and development through to disciplinaries and grievances.

In this position you will work in close collaboration with the leaders of the business in order to facilitate and implement the growth plans of the organisation. Previous experience within both the food and retail sectors would be significantly advantageous. A demonstrable history of assisting organisations with the challenges of ongoing growth phases within this sector will also be highly desirable.

You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience within a similar leadership role.
