Vickerstock are proud to be partnering with a leading manufacturing business in Ballymena to recruit a Health & Safety Officer for a flexible contract role.

The Role:

This position offers complete flexibility on working hours and days, making it ideal for an experienced H&S professional seeking a short-term contract. The primary focus will be on grassroots Health & Safety, conducting risk assessments, and delivering training across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out risk assessments related to moving vehicles and cutting machines.
• Implementing and maintaining workplace H&S procedures.
• Providing training and guidance to staff on H&S best practices.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant safety legislation.

What You Need:

• NEBOSH qualification, degree, or diploma in a relevant field.
• Experience in a manufacturing or similar high-risk environment.
• Strong ability to engage with staff and promote a positive safety culture.

Job Details:

• Location: Ballymena
• Hours: Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 8am-3pm (flexible working available)
• Contract: 2 months
• Rate: £250-£350 per day
• IR35 Status: Outside IR35
