Role and responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate order placement, manage supplier performance, and maintain inventory at optimal levels. Resolve purchase order discrepancies, validate delivery plans, and track order fulfilment.
• Update and maintain procurement data in the ERP system, including supplier details, pricing, lead times, and order information.
• Track order status, manage delivery priorities, and ensure timely delivery, coordinating with suppliers on quality, invoice, and pricing queries.
• Provide key stakeholders with accurate and timely updates on order and delivery status, supplier performance, and any emerging issues.
• Conduct regular reviews with suppliers on KPIs, support performance evaluations, and manage returns for vendor credits.
• Complete customs declarations for Brexit-related shipments via HMRC's TSS and assist in other areas as needed.

Essential:

• Degree or relevant professional certification, or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 years' experience in end-to-end procurement, stock management, and supplier management in manufacturing, with a proven record of meeting KPI targets.
• Strong experience with ERP systems and a solid understanding of procure-to-pay processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and numerical reasoning, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Self-starter with a focus on results, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a record of meeting targets and deadlines.
