Exciting new initiative announced for A-Level students by CAFRE - College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise and Northern Ireland Food and Drink Association - NIFDA!
Introducing the Food and Drink Academy, a new initiative developed by CAFRE in collaboration with the Northern Ireland Food & Drink Association (NIFDA).
The Food and Drink Academy offers a structured four-year Higher Level Apprenticeship, combining both academic and on-the-job training.
Participants will begin with a Foundation Degree and progress to a Level 6 BSc (Hons) Degree in Food and Drink Manufacture at CAFRE’s Loughry Campus.
The goal of the Academy is to produce highly skilled graduates who can take on middle and senior management roles within the industry.
This program will be instrumental in shaping the future leaders of the Food and Drink Industry.
CAFRE and NIFDA are inviting companies to confirm their interest in advertising an opportunity through the Food and Drink Academy, to recruit a school leaver(s) to enrol in the Food and Drink Academy in September 2025.
Expressions of interest are to be registered with NIFDA (@ harry@nifda.co.uk) by 5 September and confirmed no later than Friday 27 September 2024.
