Payroll Clerk (part time)


Vickerstock are currently recruiting for a Payroll Clerk for a very successful FMCG organisation based in Co Armagh. The role is part time 2 ½ days per week. (Monday/Tuesday and half day Thursday)

Your new role as a Payroll Clerk:

  • Checking new records, new starters and leavers returns
  • Reviewing and processing weekly clock cards.
  • Ensuring SMP, SPP, SSP, Salary Sacrifice, Court Orders, Student Loans and Pensions are processed in line with legislation
  • Preparing BACs reports
  • Ensuring FPS and EPS submissions are processed in line with the deadlines
  • Reconciling PAYE & NI (UK) and making payments to HMRC and Revenue
  • Processing month end reconciliations and year end procedure
  • Keeping 'Benefit in Kind' information up-to-date for P11d's
  • Liaising with external agencies such as HMRC, Revenue, etc.,
  • Complete all weekly and monthly payroll reporting requirements
  • Ensuring full adherence to processes
  • Ensure all Payroll functions are conducted promptly and efficiently
  • Ensure that employee Payroll queries are resolved as quickly as possible and following correct process.

What you'll need to succeed as a Payroll Clerk:

  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
  • At least 5 years' experience of working within a payroll function with computerised packages and completion of reports both internal & external.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment.
