Maintenance Engineer (Days, £45K)

Vickerstock are working in conjunction with one of Northern Irelands leading employers to recruit a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias of 70:30 - or as close to it).

This is one of the best paying positions in the country for Mon-Fri day shift.

This is a full-time permanent role within their Maintenance department, your primary focus will be to ensure the maximum uptime on machinery.

Maintenance Engineer - Duties;

• Take responsibility for health, safety and well-being to deliver a safety first culture
• Bring a root cause based mindset and culture to deliver high quality solutions
• Develop and report concise data driven metrics to inform priorities and action plans
• Provide depth of technical advice and guidance to improve the reliability and performance of all plant
• Assist with the installation, servicing and maintenance of a wide range of production plant and machinery
• Maintain collaborative working practices, building strong relationships with all internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with Production to prioritise daily workload and plant maintenance
• Manage breakdowns with urgency to minimise downtime, working outside of core hours, unprompted with the wider team where valuable to do so

Maintenance Engineer - Criteria:

• Engineering, and/or time served Electrical background
• A minimum of 5 years' experience gained in a manufacturing environment, or similar role
• Experience working with and installing single phase/three phase electrical circuits
• Knowledge of current H&S legislation · Root cause analysis & fault-finding experience on automated machinery & electrical systems.
