Job description
Warehouse Manager (Multi Site)
Location: Lisburn
Working hours: 39 hours p/w, Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm
Package: Salary DOE, Annual leave entitlement 32 days per annum, with enhanced annual leave entitlement for years of service + Smart Phone and laptop.
An established, family-owned group with headquarters in Ireland and the UK. Specialising in the design, manufacturing, and wholesale distribution of a diverse range of high-quality products and brands to a long-standing network of retail and trade customers.
Role and responsibilities:
- Manage logistics for receiving, warehousing, and dispatch operations.
- Coordinate with operations teams, customer service, and stakeholders for smooth communication.
- Inspect and approve product quality and quantity for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Meet regularly with warehouse leads to assess operations and develop improvement plans.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Planner to maintain optimal stock levels across depots.
- Partner with Site Operations Managers to integrate warehouse responsibilities within site operations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, working with Logistics, Transformation, and IT teams to implement technology for operational efficiencies.
- Track metrics to enhance productivity, reduce costs, minimize errors, and deliver superior customer service.
- Oversee improvement projects to uphold health and safety standards with support from the Health & Safety team, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
- Ensure all employees, visitors, and contractors follow health and safety policies.
- Manage budget control measures to align logistics spending with Group objectives.
- Maintain site security for personnel, facilities, and inventory.
- Foster a culture of training and development to support career advancement opportunities within the Group.
- Maintain strong employee relations and resolve issues with HR support.
- Delegate tasks effectively while ensuring accountability across depots.
- Drive positive changes throughout the site.
- Ensure timely delivery of all site projects with team engagement and support.
Essential:
- Degree or similar in Logistics or Supply Chain, and or work experience.
- 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Full clean driving license and be willing to travel to other company depots within the ROI
- Have strong IT skills with experience using WMS & ERP systems.
- An outstanding leader who leads by example, sharing knowledge and empowering staff.
