Vickerstock are excited to be working in partnership with our leading Food Manufacturing client who are consistently improving and introducing new measures to improve their processes and products. They are seeking to appoint a SOP Writer to join them at their impressive state of the art factory in Shercock, County Cavan on a Maternity Cover contract.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing safe, operational, quality procedures in conjunction with the Health & Safety, Quality, and Production functions. As a member of the team, you will support the business by providing documented procedures to ensure all staff are in compliance with legislation from a health & safety and food safety to ensure a best in class standard.

Key duties

• Develop and implement safe, operational, quality procedures in conjunction with the Health & Safety, Quality, and Production functions ensuring the capture of correct & accurate information.
• Liaise with all functions to ensure fully accurate information to enable effective staff training prior to implementation.
• Review the process to ensure practices are fully compliant with the procedure.
• Identify any deviations and communicate to the relevant Manager.
• Identification of areas for continuous improvement.
• Carry out process inspections and assessments including internal audits.
• Dealing with customer queries.
• Involvement in Customer / Quality audits / Regulatory visits as required.
• Meet all customer & internal standards

Experience Required

• Excellent Administrative Experience
• High level of IT/Excel/Power Point and organisation administration skills in an FMCG Environment
• Good understanding of food manufacturing and associated supply chains.
