Vickerstock are working in partnership with a global manufacturing company for the appointment of a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on lean process improvements. Reporting to the Operations Manager this position offers autonomy with the ability to make changes with ease.

Your new role

• Responsible for the development and improvement of existing manufacturing systems, processes, procedures, and equipment
• Implement the most efficient and cost-effective production methods required to manufacture products.
• Coordinate with production and quality control to help identify any issues affecting production and establish what fixes are required.
• Development of lean manufacturing principles.
• Ensure all associated paperwork and reports are maintained and kept up to date.
• To assist in risk analysis across key assets.
• Assist in the execution of engineering projects and tasks.

What you'll need

• Degree educated with 5 years' experience in a similar role within manufacturing.
• Experience using MRP systems.
• Knowledge of design packages / SolidWorks
