Your day to day:
As the successful Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales and building relationships with new and existing customers. You will play a key role in identifying business opportunities, expanding our market reach, and promoting our high-quality products to clients in various sectors. This role offers excellent growth potential within a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local and regional market.

  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

  • Conduct product presentations and tastings to potential clients, providing detailed product information and answering customer queries.

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, adjusting sales strategies as necessary.

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Manager.

  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and meetings to promote brand and products.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that support sales efforts.

  • Ensure timely and efficient follow-up with all leads and opportunities, tracking progress through the sales pipeline.

  • Contribute to achieving overall business growth targets, expanding our market presence.


Your essential ingredients

  • Proven experience in sales, ideally within the food industry or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques and customer relationship management.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach to work.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM software, and other sales tools.

  • Full driving license and willingness to travel across the UK as needed.

Desirable

  • Experience in the food industry, especially within the gourmet, hospitality, or retail sectors.

  • Knowledge of food trends and market insights.

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
