The successful candidate will manage RD&A new product and packaging developments, ensuring that accurate and timely information is supplied to the associated site teams as well as to the customer.

What your typical day will look like:

• Owner of Product development from customer brief, scale up trials & customer launch.
• Responsible for co-ordinating NPD recipes along with required paperwork
• Lead in raw material & supplier approval in MDG in line with site process
• Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Co-ordinate RD&A commercialization process between customer and commercialization team
• Support site packaging, regulatory and quality team with the artwork process.
• Maintain customer Focus for ingredient and packaging developments within the marketplace.
• Sample Creation and dispatch to customers
• Remain fully flexible to meet business requirement

Your essential ingredients:

• Degree in Food Science (or related topic) or previous relevant experience in the Food Manufacturing industry
• Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Able to work accurately and quickly in a fast-moving environment
• Able to work on your own initiative and pay attention to detail
• Good organisational skills and excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated with food interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Desirable Criteria (it would be great if you have this but don't worry if you don't!):

• Experience in SAP and Optiva systems an advantage
