Vickerstock are working in partnership with our award winning FMCG client who have grown to become a well-known brand within their field and with a strong commitment to quality and innovation they have established themselves as a trusted brand within the food industry.
Due to continued company growth and success, we are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Leader to join the team.

As Quality Lead you will be responsible for developing, implementing and ensuring that the overall Food Safety and Quality function is in compliance to legal, certification & customer requirements. You will provide assurance that the products supplied by the company meet statutory and customer requirements for Food Safety and Quality.

Key Duties

Food Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all products meet food safety, customer, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain HACCP systems and site compliance with GFSI certification.
  • Lead and prepare for audits, resolving non-conformances.
  • Oversee hygiene, pest control, calibration, and testing schedules.
  • Investigate non-conformances, customer complaints, and supplier issues.

Quality Management & Improvement

  • Foster a strong food safety and quality culture across teams.
  • Drive continuous improvements in quality systems and processes.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and key customers on quality matters.

Training & Team Leadership

  • Develop and mentor the quality team, promoting best practices.
  • Provide training on food safety and compliance.


We are looking for:

  • Relevant 3rd level qualification in a Food Science or related subject
  • Must have strong experience within quality team in Food Manufacturing
  • Previous experience of working with retailers and their audit requirements is essential.
  • Experience of BRC audits


Working hours will be Monday - Friday day shift, 7am to 4.30pm. Salary in return will be around the €45k mark depending on skills and experience.
