Job Description: The Project Quantity Surveyor (QS) is in charge of handling the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. Their responsibilities revolve around three main areas:
Pre-Contract Phase: This involves becoming familiar with tender documentation and aiding in establishing commercial objectives for the project.
Contract Execution Phase: Responsibilities during this phase include procuring subcontractors, attending pre-award meetings, managing documentation and schedules, processing applications and variation schedules, conducting measurements, overseeing accounts, facilitating payments, generating in-house reports, handling contractual correspondence, and managing final accounts.
Post-Contract Phase: This involves finalizing subcontractor accounts and ensuring the completion of all filing and documentation requirements.
Requirements: Applicants should possess relevant professional qualifications in quantity surveying. Proficiency in IT systems is crucial, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in teams, demonstrate organizational skills, self-starting initiative, and possess strong written and verbal communication abilities.
