Vickerstock are delighted to be working in partnership with our client known for its long-standing tradition and dedication to producing quality various products on the appointment of Production Supervisor for their Lurgan based facility.

What your day to day will look like:

• The set-up of the factory when on shift making sure all raw materials are ready for the lines IE Labels, Preforms, pallets, plastic etc.
• Ensure all associated paperwork is filled in correctly, accurately and handed in at the end of each shift run.
• To ensure the production schedule is adhered to.
• Make sure all part pallet stock is monitored and rotated back into production.
• Reporting of any stock loss/damage or downtime to the Production and/ or the General Manager.
• Ensure cleanliness of work area and hygiene standards maintained.
• Daily management of staff within the specific area on day/evenings/nights.
• Make sure staff are fully utilised when lines are stopped.
• Monitor time and attendance for staff for each shift and ensure staff are aware of and adhere to the company absence management policies & procedures.
• Ensuring suitable cover is in place prior to holiday periods.
• Assist maintenance on changeovers and line set up.
• Ensure all staff are trained to the required standards.
• Motivate and lead team to deliver all targets.
• Provide deputy cover to other supervisors.

What you need to succeed:

• Experience working in Food Manufacturing or equivalent
• Bottling experience is desirable but not essential
• Knowledge of Food Safety standards
