Vickerstock are working partnership with a pharma firm in Newry on the appointment of a Procurement & Stores Lead.

What's in it for you:

• Starting salary up to £45,000
• 12% annual bonus
• 22 days annual leave plus stat days
• Monday - Thursday 8.15am-5pm & Friday 8.15am-4pm

In your new role:

• Manage and mentor 1 Stores Operative & 1 Buyer ensuring they are prepped and motivated for the day ahead
• Build relationships with key suppliers negotiating best price and lead time whilst continually monitoring performance
• Sourcing new suppliers for machine parts
• Regular offerings of alternative suppliers and products to customer in an effort to maximise profit and performance potential
• Bring Suppliers on site to support existing products and to win new business
• Frequently liaise with key stakeholders on site
• Monitor all agreed performance metrics against agreed plans and ensuring all targets are being met
• Devise, implement and manage supply chain projects that deliver added value services and cost benefits
• Review operating procedures and processes on a regular basis to ensure, recommending any changes where necessary to improve performance
• Review all stocking profiles and identify procedures that can effectively be implemented to reduce any related cost
• Produce Reports and presentations of activities as required

What you will need to succeed:

• A minimum of 2 years working in a procurement role at a senior level
• Sound ERP system experience and a good understanding of all Microsoft Office packages
