Vickerstock are working in partnership with one of Irelands largest food manufacturing firm to recruit a Maintenance Planner for their site in Cookstown.

As a Maintenance Planner you will be responsible for;

  • Adopting a safety-first approach when planning all maintenance work.
  • Adherence to site safety, food safety and quality processes and procedures.
  • Efficiently planning, scheduling and controlling the workflow of all non-urgent maintenance from origination through to assignment.
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining the site CMMS.
  • Coordinating parts, equipment availability and time of maintenance engineers and third-party contractors for development of robust maintenance plans.
  • Liaising with supply chain, production and quality organisations to achieve the maintenance whilst minimising the impact to output and quality of product.

As a Maintenance Planner ideally you will have;

  • Engineering degree, time-served apprenticeship or similar relevant qualification.
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role with foods understanding of mechanical and electrical components and systems.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage several work streams with conflicting priorities.
  • Experience working in a similar role would be ideal.
