Maintenance Engineer (Electrically biased)

Vickerstock are working in partnership with our client based in Dungannon to recruit an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer. Our client is a market leading firm within their specialist field with a focus on sustainability and environmentally friendly practices.

Duties will include

• Responding to Machinery & Equipment breakdowns, diagnosing faults and carrying out remedial actions efficiently to minimise production downtime.
• Carrying out planned maintenance in line with PPM schedules.
• Carrying out Installations & Machinery overhauls when necessary.
• Liaising with management and other departments, keeping them updated on the status of the machinery on site and reporting repeat issues.
• Maintaining clear and concise documentation with regards to the above.

What you will need

• Time-Served Electrical or Mechatronic apprenticeship.
• Experience in similar role, carrying out Maintenance on production Machinery.
• Whilst this is an Electrically biased role, it will also involve assisting the Mechanical engineers on site and therefore some Mechanical experience is a distinct advantage.
• 17th or 18th edition wiring regulations.
• Experience with PLC systems.
