In your new role:

• Develop long lasting relationships with suppliers negotiating best price & lead times
• Continually monitor supplier performance ensuring goods are delivered in a timely manner and quality standards are consistently met
• Generate purchase orders to meet manufacturing requirements with use of the MRP system
• Support other sites with purchasing as and when required
• Frequently liaise with the planning team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the business
