Human Resources Officer (35k)

Lurgan. As a result of undergoing several joint ventures and significant investments, this is a fantastic opportunity

to join this exceptionally growing organisation whilst getting exposure to all HR Generalist duties and working alongside

their talented team of HR Professionals.

What will you do as HR Officer?

As the HR Officer, you will report into the HR Manager and work alongside the highly-experienced HR Officers in providing expert HR support, coaching advice to employees across all company sites. Duties will include;

  • Managing the full 360 recruitment process including posting job advertisements, shortlisting, arranging interviews, devising interview questions, conducting interviews, delivering feedback, issuing offers and facilitating onboarding.
  • Leading and assisting managers in all absence management review meetings
  • Assisting payroll with payroll administration ie. notifying of new starters, leavers, salary increases and sickness absences.
  • Hosting inductions for new employees including delivering HR presentations and running through the employee handbook.
  • Acting as an advisor to management on employee relations cases for discipline and grievance
  • Utilising the HR System to update employee records and assisting in the implementation of the new HRIS System.

What will you require as HR Officer?

As the HR Officer, you will require the following;

  • Minimum of 2 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Experienced in utilising HR Systems, end to end recruitment process and completing absence management meetings.
  • Skilled in assisting with employee relations, completing inductions and payroll
  • Driving licence to travel once week to neighbouring site
  • Desirable to have CIPD Level 5 Qualification or HR Degree
