Job description
Vickerstock are working in partnership with a civil and structural engineering firm on the appointment of a Health & Safety Coordinator.
As a Health & Safety Coordinator, you will prepare documentation as part of the Principal Designer duties in accordance with the CDM Regulations, reviewing Health & Safety information from Designers and Contractors with occasional site Health & Safety inspections.

In your new role:
- Assist in the delivery of the Principal Designer role in accordance with the CDM Regulations
- Liaise with Design Team Members, Contractors, Clients
- Provide CDM and H&S advice to project team members
- Prepare Pre-Construction Information and H&S Files
- Review Contractors' Construction Phase Plans
- Represent the company at Design Team / Client meetings
- Complete site H&S inspections
What you will need to succeed:
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- NEBOSH General or Construction certification
- Awareness of Health & Safety / CDM legislation
- Knowledge and experience of CDM regulations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- IT and numeracy skills (MS Office)
- Full clean driving license and access to transport
Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):
- Membership of accredited industry body (IOSH)
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
- Civil or Structural Engineering background
