Vickerstock are working in partnership with a local manufacturing company for the appointment of a Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on lean process improvements. This position offers an excellent opportunity to kick start your career within a global manufacturing company with clear progression opportunities

Your new role

• Implement the most efficient and cost-effective production methods required for manufacture.
• New product introduction, design for manufacture reviews, establishing processes, production launch.
• Manage data creation including BOMS
• Coordinate with production, engineering and quality assurance departments to establish / implement containment and route cause fixes to manufacturing issues.
• Provide support to the Design team and supplier network.
• Analyse issues that arise from within Operations and propose improvements where required.
• Provide monthly reports.

What you'll need

• Degree in an engineering related subject
• A placement year is hight desirable
• Good understanding of lean manufacturing and process improvements
