Finance Manager
We are working with a leading Charity to recruit for a talented and qualified Finance Manager to join their team. This is a fixed term contract until April 2025 and based in Newtownabbey.
As the Finance Manager, you will support the planning and implementation of a new ERP system as well as the effective running of the Finance Department.
Your new role as a Finance Manager
Supporting the Head of Finance by strategic planning for, testing and implementing of the new ERP system and managing the change initiatives.
Identifying potential current IT finance system improvements and developing and implementing agreed recommendations.
Management Accounts
Statutory Financial Statements
Budgeting
Purchase Ledger

What you will need to have as a Finance Manager
- Professional accountancy (CCAB or CIMA) qualification plus 2 years post qualification experience in the following areas: Financial Reporting and Overseeing Purchase Ledger
- Demonstrable experience with project management and systems implementations, including planning and testing of finance systems upgrade, preparation of procedures and timely implementation.
- Thorough understanding of financial processes, principles and regulations, with a focus on financial reporting, planning and analysis and internal controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel & Word) is essential.
