Job Description:

They need a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Estimator who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in estimating electrical projects in the commercial, retail/hospitality, and industrial sectors. Your main responsibility will be preparing accurate and competitive estimates to ensure our projects' profitability and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors to determine project specifications and requirements.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering options.
• Prepare detailed and itemized cost estimates for all aspects of electrical work.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on scheduling, planning, and execution.
• Maintain and update a database of cost information and historical data.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the commercial, retail/hospitality, and industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Accubid, Trimble, Bluebeam).
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
