Dispatch/Order Fulfilment Manager
Our ambitious and thriving Food Manufacturing Client based just outside of Belfast are seeking an experienced Dispatch/Order Fulfillment Manager to oversee daily activities of outward-bound products.
You will have proven experience and success in managing a warehousing facility along with extensive knowledge of order fulfilment systems, leading to reduced costs and improved profitability. You will have a hands-on approach, be an initiative-taker and be able to demonstrate your ability to build and develop teams.
What is on offer
Salary £40-45k
5days over Monday - Sunday.
Your day to day in your role:
Lead, motivate, and support team within a time sensitive and demanding environment, including Performance Development Plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
Management of staffing levels in line with budgetary and demand requirements.
Develop operational systems, implement continuous improvement and upskill your team to improve productivity across order fulfillment activities.
Oversee the delivery of products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
Achieve order fulfillment metrics including delivery in full, delivery on time.
Manage stock inventory levels and implement appropriate replenishment strategies
Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including operations, suppliers, carriers, customers, and sales teams.
Pro-activity, management of health and safety standards in line with company policy and requirements.
Your essential ingredients:
Minimum 3 years proven success in warehousing and order fulfilment or similar logistics/warehousing setting.
Ideally hold Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Operations/Warehouse Management or related field.
Understands Retailer and BRC Food Manufacturing requirements.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Strong IT Skills including proficiency with Microsoft office.
