Construction Administrator
Vickerstock are recruiting for a Construction Administrator for a leading client based in Belfast on a permanent basis.
The Construction Administrator will provide valuable administration support to the team.
Your new role as a Construction Administrator
- Booking all travel and accommodation needs for the business.
- Processing manual card payments as required by commercial and operational team.
- Answering office phone and directing calls as appropriate
- Maintaining general office supplies; stationery & welfare provisions.
- Issue of weekly vehicle tracker reports.
- Collation of weekly payroll timesheets
- Weekly Payroll; checking timesheets against vehicle trackers, entry on to master spreadsheet, and liaison with accounts in relation to processing payments.
- Procurement of plant & materials, including requests for quotations and PO generation on the cost system.
- Issue of new supplier and sub-contract set up forms as required by the commercial team.
- Maintenance of sub-contractor insurances register, including requesting up to date insurances when applicable.
- Generation & issue of sub-contract orders
What you will need to have:
- At least 2 years working experience in administration - preferably in the construction industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team and independently.
- IT proficient, Microsoft packages, excel essential.
- Attention to detail and numerically confident.
- Highly organised and accurate.
