Construction Administrator
Vickerstock are recruiting for a Construction Administrator for a leading client based in Belfast on a permanent basis.
The Construction Administrator will provide valuable administration support to the team.
Your new role as a Construction Administrator

  • Booking all travel and accommodation needs for the business.
  • Processing manual card payments as required by commercial and operational team.
  • Answering office phone and directing calls as appropriate
  • Maintaining general office supplies; stationery & welfare provisions.
  • Issue of weekly vehicle tracker reports.
  • Collation of weekly payroll timesheets
  • Weekly Payroll; checking timesheets against vehicle trackers, entry on to master spreadsheet, and liaison with accounts in relation to processing payments.
  • Procurement of plant & materials, including requests for quotations and PO generation on the cost system.
  • Issue of new supplier and sub-contract set up forms as required by the commercial team.
  • Maintenance of sub-contractor insurances register, including requesting up to date insurances when applicable.
  • Generation & issue of sub-contract orders


What you will need to have:

  • At least 2 years working experience in administration - preferably in the construction industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team and independently.
  • IT proficient, Microsoft packages, excel essential.
  • Attention to detail and numerically confident.
  • Highly organised and accurate.
