Vickerstock are working in partnership with a specialist firm based in Ballymena on the appointment of a Buyer

In your new role:

• Work closely with all other departments to ensure all materials are on site on time
• Sourcing new supplier with a strong focus on cost saving
• Build relationships with key suppliers negotiating contracts, price, lead time and terms of business
• Minimise stock holding and ensure timely controlled delivery of goods and services to departments across the business
• Continually monitor supplier performance, running analysis reports and reporting to head of department

What you will need to succeed:

• A minimum of 2 years experience working in a fast paced purchasing department
• Strong IT skills and a good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
