Job Overview:
As the new Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic partnerships, lead generation, and identifying new opportunities. You will play a key role in expanding our client base and enhancing revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities in the market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential partners, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold-calling, and industry events.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align business development strategies with brand initiatives.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends to adjust strategies in order to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress reports.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

Your essential ingredients

  • Proven track record of winning new business and exceeding sales targets within the 'Ready to Eat' space
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
(This role will target the Northern + Southern Ireland and UK convenience market - previous experience with the likes of Asda, Sainsbury's,Tesco, Musgrave, Dunnes in a BD or Buying capacity would be a distinct advantage).
