Assembly Operatives

Location: Moy, Dungannon

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm / Friday 8am - 2pm

Salary: £12.50 - £14.50 depending on experience

Job Purpose:

Responsible for the accurate assembly of mechanical components, adhering to safety, quality, and production standards.

The Person:

• Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing role, preferably in heavy equipment or machinery.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
• Physically fit to lift and handle heavy parts and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble aggregate system components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to fit, fasten, and install parts.
• Inspect and test completed units for functionality and quality assurance.
• Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Identify and report defects, malfunctions, or issues in assembly processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstation and assembly area.
• Work in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
