Salary up to £45,000

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a local precision engineering company for the recruitment of a Production Supervisor. Reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for lead a team of 14 ensuring KPI's and quality standards are met

Your new role

• Overall supervision and governance of production employees.
• Drive the processes and employees to meet deadlines and production targets.
• Drive the quality standards.
• Responsible for managing the Opening/Closing of the factory.
• Allocating work to employees in conjunction with the production schedule.
• Implementing in house inductions and coordinating for external training.
• Overall factory & yard housekeeping.

What you'll need

• 3 years' supervisory experience, leading a team of up to 20 employees, within a manufacturing environment.
• The ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve production targets and take full responsibility of the factory floor at all times
• Good understanding on quality, health and safety standards
